Served as Editor, Curator, and Urdu Translator for Pakistan Japan Cultural Association(PJCA)’s first International Multilingual Haiku Anthology 2026 produced in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan in Pakistan. The anthology is the first of its kind in the country, featuring 657 haiku submissions by 335 poets representing 45 countries.
Additional responsibilities included:
- Design, layout, and typesetting of the anthology
- Urdu translation and editorial coordination
- Writing regional section overviews
- Coordination and correspondence with all contributors

Hifsa Ashraf presented my published micropoetry poetry book Wildflowers to H.E. Akamatsu Shuichi, Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, at the reception celebrating the 65th birthday of His Majesty Emperor Naruhito in February 2026.

Hifsa Ashraf attended the screening of the Japanese film Mondays: See You “This” Week! at the Embassy of Japan in Pakistan, Islamabad, as part of its cultural exchange programme in collaboration with the Japan Foundation on 26 January 2026.
