patriarchal shadow overstepping my double helix
housebound
finding my place
in the milky way
solar eclipse...
he blames me
for the stillbirth
irregular life patterns her fading henna tattoo
late winter afternoon
slipping into the dust haze
a junglefowl's crow
meadow trail...
an earthworm unfolds
the smell of rain
two moons
slowing down
the night train
peacock flower--
I still am a mother
of the unborn child
silent retreat
a part of me
growing older
monsoon rain
turning off
my social self
sufi meditation
sitting next to
who I am
parched land—
the barn sparrow hops
from patch to patch
