Sonnets

A garden

dream of a garden with vibrant clues
yearn deeply, and passionately grow
kindle every seed with zealous glow
awake the soil to conceive the hues
scent of flowers coalesce into breeze
captivate tiny creatures to embrace
nectar, and dust of petals with grace
and melodies of warmth that please
shadowy trees with a majestic view
absorb and exhibit seasons’ mood
of creation that miraculously renew
scenes of nature to finally conclude
exquisite beauty of boundless sights
O lovers sing for the eternal Knight

(selected as POW in POETS)

------------------------------------------------------
Wanderlust!

touches the sky with some invincible strength
spreads its branches to transfer unlimited energy
of longevity that rejuvenates the clouds tenderly
to float freely and swirl with passionate depth
O sun! paint these clouds with the hues of spring
soothe the spectrum of life before it fully thrives
relish the panoramic view of nature’s insight
open the doors of paradise inside with wide wings
in the air of certainty that awake my wanderlust
to embrace wisdom and follow trails of bark fissure
for the glorious sight of another world as a wisher
adrift in the horizon, suffused with the golden dust
reaches above the sky a place that is unfamiliar
to the wanderer who needs to reflect in the mirror

-------------------------------------------------------

Transformation

opens the door of a deep valley of time,
radiant colours of flowers reveal spring
grasps my attention to conceive a rhyme,
imagine the colourful rainbow and swing.
subsumes my emotions into hues of sight,
scribbles a melody of dawn with soft twigs
plays with a symphonic tune of subtle light,
awake creative dreams to spark and sing.
morning breeze unties the knotty thought,
discloses the enthralling secrets and briefs,
cleans the canvas of my heart from spots,
and paints my feelings with inspiring beliefs.
spring to summer, time passes in a blink,
‘tis shades of petals bathed in a subtle ink.

--------------------------------------------------------

Memories!

carved my body with engraved memories
that absorbs deep into my soul smoothly
reminds me of an artist who paints cleverly
leaves some shades of love and accompanies

sketch some patterns of needs and desire
makes me alive to feel the sensational flowers
evaporate my assumptions to lose all powers
as delicate bubbles that burst hatred’s empire

covers my body with white cloak of warmth
resist cold memories to not ruin my thoughts
spread in the air a true passion of my heart
create a symphony that overcomes wrath

play with butterflies fluttering in the silence
and show some glimpses of veiled shyness

------------------------------------------------------------------

Under the Oak
a majestic view that captivates every season of life,
twists and turns in all directions with gentle manoeuvres,
enchant the summer breeze to compose melodies with fife,
that whisper in the air to arouse the oblivious viewers.
travellers take shelter under the shadow of its association,
interweave their dreams with the fresh air that surpasses
the elusive mirror of the sight and evokes imagination
capturing the celestial hues of heaven to heal up crisis.
boughs laden with Spanish moss strike the tiny wanderers
to swirl around for pilgrimage and absorb the intellectual gist
knotting the vision with freedom and awake slumberers,
who perceive the world beyond the superficial veil of mist.
I ponder under the Oak to avoid the sweltering thoughts,
breathe in the moisture that soothes my tranquillity sought.

----------------------------------------------------------------

A new beginning

across the water finds another shift in the season
that takes me to the valley of moss pink for a reason
early in the morning, flowers spread their fragrance
allure butterflies and honeybees to collect the essence
farmers harvest their crops in the dust of golden time
sparrows perch on the barn and sing sweet rhymes
colourful festivals captivate and refresh our memories
flying kites pull the strings of our childhood fantasies
badr(moon) ripples in the water to awake the inner sight
brightens up the gloomy mind to forget every fight
the flute of spring composes a blissful tune of glory
that beckons the arrival of the day with a new story
rekindles my thoughts in the fully bloomed night
breathes in the spring breeze and take a long flight

------------------------------------------------------------
morning breeze allures the birds to sing aloud
sweet songs of spring in the darkest valley
and end the spell of dense, mighty cloud
to refresh the barren land and curved alley

fragrance caresses the wilted souls to awake
for the glimpse of divine in the bright sunlight
imbues the essence of infinity to stop the ache
of stoic detachment, killing false shadows of fright

first touch of dawn shakes the slumberous hues
and takes me to the meadow full of colourful irises
where shiny butterflies flutter around for the clues
to fill my heart with joy, forgetting the old crisis

look! early dawn shows the signs of longevity
come to the light, embrace fully its positivity

-------------------------------------------------

a message from abandoned island inside
sedentary birds sitting on the colourful light
wake up! warm sunlight is ready to guide
forgotten dreams finally take their first flight
rekindling my melancholic feelings to strive
for breaking ice burg embedded within heart
free floating pieces of silence doth thrive
to resonate my inner voice before I depart
evening breeze intertwined with my breath
it’s time to dust off the painted love in eyes
bury the ashes of pain for their eternal death
lo! embracing the true love, isn’t it wise?
seashell songs with a majestic symphony
break all barriers, unveil the hidden destiny

------------------------------------------------------

plumes of mist spreading in the darkness
blindfold the passionate love so silently
as some thoughts take a long flight quietly
fades away crimson hues, bring calmness

break the ice as we are still companions
who shared many seasons of love together
let’s talk about it before we become strangers
cherish some memories with the same passion

destroy all those weeds that poison thoughts
love in a transition grows in the air of positivity
keep in the sunlight of trust, water it passionately
till the blossoms grow deeply in barren hearts

kisses cold like snow freeze the inner feelings
love in a transition needs more time for healing

---------------------------------------------------------
True love

true love is like a cascading waterfall
bursts through the dark steeply rock
cuddles with gentle wind from the dock
twists with morning sunlight to enthral

gushing erotically with a blissful melody
misty breath casts magic in moonlight
butterflies kiss pearly skin for delight
angelic soul fly high with wings of fidelity

swaying and dancing to deeply interact
purity glints on its effervescent eyes
to smear passionately rainbows in skies
as gentle drops of love lost in cataract

touches soil and transcends it into gold
love seeps into heart that is ready to unfold
