Ribbons Spring/Summer 2019

 honour killing

under the canopy

of pine trees

my deep silence

giving a voice

to the cold wind

-------

walking across

the darkest forest

you and I

on the verge of annihilation

after the confession of love

-------

tell me how

to cross it peacefully

the path of rituals

that denies my existence

but demands the sacrifice

-------

bow my head

in the name of honour

this cold evening

I strangled my beliefs

after losing you
